The Fann PHPA Polymer Concentration Test Kit selectively determines the concentration of PHPA (partially hydrolyzed Polyacrylamide) through a simple analytical field test utilizing a Kjeldahl procedure, modified by Fann.

As hydrolysis of the polymer occurs, ammonia is released and collected on boric acid. This mixture is titrated and the titration end point is related to the polymer concentration of the sample fluid. All equipment, glassware, and reagents are included in a rugged, lightweight plastic carrying case.
